Selma Wiley and Doris Webb
"Selma Wiley and Doris Webb, chatting in the main entrance-way to Marsh Fork, maybe taking a breather from the loud music inside the gymnasium. The young ladies near the door are doing a similar thing. I can identify three of the girls. On the left is Debbie Romine, daughter of MFHS coach Dewey Romine. To the right of Debbie is Elizabeth "Brownie" Barrett, daughter of Quentin and Ann Barrett. Quentin was a principal at Whitesville Jr High, and Ann was a teacher at Mt. View. The next girl is unidentifiable because she is squarely turned away from the camera. The last girl is Nancy Dickens, who lived in a house on the right hand side (heading East) of Rt.3, just down from Charley Jarrell's Store at Rock Creek. I believe she may have been a relative of MFHS teacher Gerald Dickens. I wish I had an e-mail address for any one of the girls, who would surely remember who that "mystery girl" is."
Linda Bongalis, class of '67, has identified the "mystery girls." Linda has identified the blond girl to the left of Nancy Dickens as Linda Harold. The blond hair just visible over Linda Harold belongs to Susan Richmond, who would be to Nancy's right.
